Aisha is a blogger, social-prenuer, vegan, homeschooling naturalist. Her written work has appeared in places like the Birmingham Times, The Final Call, and Empower Magazine. When she is not helping small business owners connect, converse and inspire their target audience, you can find her on interviewing celebrities, talking blog business, or exploring nappy thoughts. Aisha is the founder and part owner of Aisha Adams Media Group, and she is the creator and founder of Aisha has a BA in English with a concentration in creative writing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She also holds a MS in Post- Secondary and adult education from Capella University.

Tell us a little about the rural community you live/work in:

I live in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. I am approximately 45 minutes outside of the city limits of Asheville, North Carolina.

What are the pressing reproductive health issues you want to raise?

Women of color still have a great need for early access to reproductive health care and health education. These issues are critical if we want to lower infant mortality rates, reduce unintended pregnancies, and prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.

Where do you most want to travel, but have never been?

Pemba Beach or St. Lucia

What does your perfect day look like?

Whenever I get a chance to lose myself in a challenge.
